Bank Indonesia Holds Rates, Societe Generale Sees Rupiah Support
Bank Indonesia left its benchmark rate at 5.75% and kept deposit and lending facility rates unchanged, a move Societe Generale analysts say reinforces rupiah stability and supports the currency.

Societe Generale analysts Galvin Chia and Kunal Kundu said the decision reinforces rupiah stability and amounts to policy continuity that supports the Indonesian currency.
