Research library: a forty-year trading archive, read method by method

A new /research section turns a forty-year partner archive of trading publications into a library you can navigate — seven fields of study, 357 methods and independent readings from 1982 to 2025, in English and Russian.

Not a signal. A way to inspect when it works.

Trading magazines have spent four decades testing indicators, cycles, position sizing and system rules in public. Most of that work sits in issues nobody opens any more. The research library brings a forty-year partner archive back into use: every article becomes a reading tied to the method it is about, so you can see how an idea was argued, tested and revised from 1982 onwards.

A reading is not a translation or a retelling of the article. It is our own interpretation, written to a fixed shape:

  • a first screen with the lead and the key points instead of a cover picture;
  • the parameters the author used, set out as a table, and charts drawn from the source's own data;
  • at the end, the entries the reading refers to and other readings on the same method.

Finding your way

Start from the map on /research: seven fields — technical analysis, quantitative methods, quantitative models, trading systems, risk and position sizing, execution and market microstructure, portfolio and market context — each opening into subtopics, methods and readings. There is also an alphabetical index of all 357 methods, a timeline of the archive by year, and a search for when you already know the term.

Readings about one method form a track — "Fast Fourier Transform · 1 of 16" — with a step to the next one. The library remembers where you stopped and offers to continue on your next visit; that memory lives in your browser, not on our server.

Published in waves

The archive goes live in daily waves rather than all at once; the counter at the top of /research always shows how many readings are published. The library is in English and Russian.
