Wall Street opened in the green, with all three major benchmarks posting early gains.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 126.49 points, or 0.24%, to 53,918.34. The S&P 500 added 35.77 points, or 0.46%, to 7,763.97, and the Nasdaq Composite rose 239.07 points, or 0.90%, to 26,684.52. Tech-heavy Nasdaq outperformed, while the broader market saw broad-based buying.
Trading volumes were active as investors returned to equities after the opening bell, though no specific catalysts were immediately apparent.
