US sets 15% tariff on drones from EU, Japan, Korea and others
The White House announced new tariffs on drones and components from several key trading partners, with a lower rate for the UK.
The White House said a new proclamation imposes a 15% ad valorem tariff on drones and drone components from the European Union, Japan, Liechtenstein, South Korea, Switzerland and Taiwan.
A separate 10% tariff will apply to drones from the United Kingdom.
The announcement outlines import duties aimed at drone producers across multiple regions, adding costs for affected suppliers entering the US market.
