US Oil Output Seen Flat in August, Gas Production Rising

US crude output is projected at 13.83 million bpd in August, barely above July, while natural gas production is seen rising through September.

The latest US production projections point to only small changes in crude output and steady gains for natural gas.

Crude oil output is expected to reach 13.83 million barrels per day in August, a slight increase from 13.82 million bpd in July. In September, production is forecast to ease to 13.77 million bpd.

Natural gas production is projected at 122.6 billion cubic feet per day in August, up from 122 bcf/d in July, and is expected to rise further to 123.2 bcf/d in September.
