President Donald Trump said on Truth Social that American Christian missionary Kevin Rideout is back in United States custody after being kidnapped in West Africa.
Trump stated that Rideout was taken by jihadi terrorists and described West Africa as the epicenter of Islamist terrorism, claiming the region has seen more deadly attacks in the past year than anywhere else on Earth.
The president added that the United States looks forward to welcoming Rideout home and said he was glad to have helped.
