SpaceX Q2 Revenue Up 92%, But Share Price Slides

SpaceX reported a 92% jump in Q2 revenue to $7.81bn, exceeding forecasts, yet its share price tumbled amid a narrower but still sizable net loss.

SpaceX delivered second-quarter revenue of $7.81 billion, a 92% jump from the same period a year earlier and well above the $6.93 billion consensus estimate. The company also managed to nearly halve its net loss, which came in at $541 million compared with over $1 billion a year ago.

Despite the strong top-line performance and shrinking deficit, the share price declined sharply. The move suggests investors may have been looking for a more definitive path to profitability or were reacting to other operational concerns not detailed in the headline figures.

The sales beat underscores SpaceX’s continued expansion in launch and Starlink services, but market reaction highlights the premium placed on bottom-line results in current market conditions.
