SpaceX has announced a collaboration with NVIDIA to develop the Starmind AI1 satellite compute payload. The project aims to deliver datacenter-class processing power in space.

Each Starmind satellite will integrate NVIDIA's next-generation Rubin GPUs alongside Vera CPUs. This hardware is intended to provide high-performance compute capabilities for applications in orbit.

The partnership underscores growing demand for space-based AI infrastructure, as companies seek to process data closer to its source and reduce latency.
