Silver Steadies Near $64.70 as Rising Yields Cap Recovery

Silver edged up 0.39% on Friday to around $64.70, though firmer US Treasury yields limited gains despite softer US data.

Silver posted a modest gain on Friday, with XAG/USD advancing 0.39% to trade near $64.70 after bouncing off the session's daily lows.

The recovery was capped by rising US yields, even as incoming US data came in softer than expected. That combination left the metal's upside limited, with the price action described as stalling rather than breaking higher.
