Samsung Galaxy Z Foldables Launch August 7 as Apple, Google Rivals Loom

Samsung Electronics said its latest Galaxy Z devices will hit shelves on August 7, with the company highlighting strong preorder demand just weeks before Apple and Google are set to refresh their foldable lineups.

Samsung Electronics confirmed that all models in the new Galaxy Z series will be available starting August 7. The company is touting robust preorder performance, though no specific figures were disclosed.

The launch timing puts Samsung in direct competition with upcoming foldable releases. Apple is expected to unveil its folding iPhone in September, while Google plans to introduce the Pixel 11 Pro Fold on August 12.

The announcements come as the foldable smartphone segment becomes increasingly crowded, with major players jostling for market share ahead of the second half of the year.
