Novo Nordisk Q2 2026 Sales Up 7% but Full-Year Guidance Flags Decline
Novo Nordisk reported a 7% rise in Q2 sales at constant exchange rates, but guided for a full-year adjusted revenue and EBIT decline of up to 6%.
Novo Nordisk posted adjusted sales of DKK 78.49 billion and adjusted operating profit of DKK 33.39 billion for the second quarter of 2026. At constant exchange rates, sales grew 7% and operating profit rose 11% compared to the prior-year period.
Despite the quarterly growth, the company's outlook for the full year is cautious. It expects adjusted revenue growth to range between -6% and 0%, while adjusted EBIT growth is guided between -6% and 0% as well.
The weak guidance suggests that the strong second quarter may not carry through the remainder of the year, potentially due to headwinds or one-off factors. Investors will be watching for further details on the drivers behind the soft annual forecast.
