Meta Releases Beta Version of AI Agent Muse Code
Meta has launched a beta terminal AI agent, Muse Code, designed to plan, write, and check code while managing complex development tasks in large repositories.
Meta introduced a beta version of its terminal-based AI agent, Muse Code, aimed at assisting developers with large code repositories. The tool handles planning changes, writing code, verifying outputs, and executing intricate development workflows.
According to Mark Zuckerberg, Muse Code deploys specialized background agents that remain active throughout a session, continuously building context. During internal testing, the agent created six game features simultaneously without merge conflicts.
The agent is built on Meta’s Muse Spark model family, developed within the company’s Superintelligence Labs unit. The announcement highlights Meta’s ongoing push to integrate AI into software development processes.
