Linde reported second-quarter 2026 results that beat analyst expectations on both earnings and revenue. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $4.50, slightly above the consensus estimate of $4.49, while sales rose to $9.29 billion, surpassing the $9.01 billion estimate.

Net cash from operating activities was $2.27 billion, which missed the $3.2 billion expectation.

Looking ahead, the industrial gas giant sees third-quarter adjusted EPS in the range of $4.45 to $4.55, compared with a $4.47 estimate. For the full year, the company expects adjusted EPS growth of 8% to 9%, implying a range of $17.70 to $17.90, up from the previous lower end of $17.60.

Additionally, Linde announced plans to expand its industrial gases complex in Phoenix and invest $1 billion to support a U.S. semiconductor facility expansion.
