Fiserv Q2 Earnings Miss, Full-Year Guidance Slashed
Fiserv reported Q2 2026 results below analyst expectations on revenue and profit, and cut its full-year outlook, signaling deepening headwinds.
Fiserv's second-quarter adjusted revenue came in at $4.96 billion, missing the consensus estimate of $5.05 billion. Adjusted earnings per share of $1.84 also fell short of the $1.91 forecast. Organic revenue declined 5%, steeper than the expected 2.96% contraction.
Looking ahead, the company lowered its full-year 2026 guidance. Fiserv now sees organic revenue down 1% to flat, compared to its prior outlook of 1% to 3% growth. The adjusted EPS forecast was cut to a range of $7.20 to $7.40, down sharply from the previous $8.00 to $8.30.
The downward revision reflects a weaker operating environment and comes as a negative surprise to investors who had anticipated a more resilient performance.
