Exxon Mobil Q2 2026 Earnings: EPS Misses, Revenue and Production Beat

Exxon Mobil reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings per share of $3.52, marginally missing the consensus estimate of $3.54. Total revenue and other income came in at $116.02 billion, significantly above the expected $103.1 billion.

Production totaled 4,514 thousand oil-equivalent barrels per day (KOEBD), surpassing the forecast of 4,227. Refinery throughput was 3,562 thousand barrels per day, slightly below the estimate of 3,630.

The company noted that volume disruptions in the Middle East reduced year-to-date earnings by $1.8 billion. It also warned that a potential closure of the Strait of Hormuz through the third quarter could impact output by around 150 KOEBD.
