Comparing symbols

Overlay markets as percentage lines to read relative strength — and rotate a basket on the RRG.

Comparing symbols overlays one market on another so you can read relative strength — which is leading, which is lagging — instead of guessing from two separate charts.

Percent-change overlay

Compare Symbols draws another symbol's percentage change as a coloured line on your current chart. Because everything is measured in percent, markets at very different prices line up on the same scale.

  • Add a comparison — pick a symbol to overlay; each one gets its own colour.
  • Build a basket — layer several markets to see the whole group at once.
  • Relative read — the line above yours is outperforming, below is lagging.

Relative Rotation Graph (RRG)

For a bird's-eye view, the RRG (part of the premium Smart Money add-on) plots a basket by relative strength and momentum against a benchmark, rotating through leading, weakening, lagging and improving quadrants.
