Crypto derivatives: open interest, funding and long/short, now public
A new dashboard at /crypto/derivatives brings positioning data from Binance, Bybit and OKX — open interest, funding rates and long/short ratios — with pages for five majors, four new scanner columns and a panel in the terminal.

Positioning data without a second subscription
How crowded is this move? Who is paying whom to hold it? Until now those questions sent you to a separate derivatives site. They are now answered on a page of their own: /crypto/derivatives, open to everyone, no account needed.
Three exchanges feed it — Binance, Bybit and OKX — and the whole board refreshes once a minute. Each exchange keeps its own row instead of being blended into a single aggregate: an average over three venues would quietly disagree with trackers that cover ten, and a number you cannot explain is worse than no number.
A page for each of five majors
BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP and DOGE have pages of their own, each carrying three things:
- Open interest — in dollars and in the coin itself, with the change over 24 hours.
- Funding — as the exchange publishes it and annualised, plus how far the three disagree, in percentage points.
- Long/short ratio — by accounts, exactly as each exchange reports it.
Open-interest history runs 7 days at hourly steps and 30 days at 4-hour steps. That ceiling belongs to the exchanges, not to us — their history endpoint returns 500 points and no more. Our own minute-by-minute series began with this release and gets deeper every day.
In the scanner and under the chart
Market Scanner has four new sortable columns on crypto symbols: open interest, its 24-hour change, funding rate and long/short ratio. Sort by funding and the paying side of the market is at the top of the list.
In the terminal the same data lives in a Derivatives panel under the chart. It is part of Pro. On a free account the panel is still there, blurred — you can see what it holds before deciding whether it is worth paying for.
