Vantage Secures CMA Category 5 Licence, Strengthening Its MENA Growth Strategy

Multi-asset CFD broker Vantage Markets has obtained a Capital Market Authority Category 5 licence in the UAE, reinforcing its long-term growth strategy across the MENA region.
Global multi-asset CFD broker Vantage Markets has secured a Capital Market Authority (CMA) Category 5 licence in the United Arab Emirates, marking a key milestone in its expansion plans for the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
The regulatory approval strengthens Vantage's regional presence as the UAE continues to develop into a leading global financial hub. The broker said the licence goes beyond compliance, serving as a foundation for deeper engagement with local traders who increasingly prioritise transparency, governance and platform security.
"The UAE is a pivotal market in our global expansion, and securing the CMA Category 5 licence underscores our long-term commitment to the region," said Marc Despallieres, Global Chief Executive Officer of Vantage Markets. "As the MENA market continues to mature, traders are looking beyond simple market access. They demand transparency, operational confidence, and responsible support."
Vantage's MENA regional strategy centres on three core priorities: strengthening local relevance, supporting trader education and building enduring consumer trust. The broker said the licence enables it to accelerate growth while keeping market trust at the centre of its approach.
The announcement comes as Vantage continues to scale its global footprint through investments in financial technology, product innovation and client education. With over 17 years of industry experience, the broker offers contracts for difference (CFDs) across forex, commodities, indices, shares, ETFs and bonds, supported by its trading platforms and mobile app.
"This is not just a licensing milestone; it is a definitive statement of our long-term intent in the MENA financial market," added Despallieres. "We firmly believe the next chapter of regional growth belongs to firms that effectively combine innovation with regulatory accountability."
Vantage Global Financial Services L.L.C, the entity holding the CMA Category 5 licence, acts solely as an introducer and not as a broker or counterparty to trades. The broker noted that CFDs are complex leveraged products carrying a high risk of rapid loss and may not be suitable for all investors.
