US Stocks Edge Higher at Open, Nasdaq Leads Gains
Major US equity indexes opened in positive territory, with the Nasdaq Composite posting the strongest advance, rising 0.78%.

Wall Street kicked off the session with modest gains across the three main benchmarks. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite led the way, climbing 205.10 points, or 0.78%, to 26,553.45 shortly after the opening bell.
The broad-based S&P 500 added 26.17 points, or 0.34%, to reach 7,736.13. Meanwhile, the Dow Jones Industrial Average inched up 69.01 points, or 0.13%, to 53,954.11.
The early upward drift suggests a risk-on mood, with technology shares providing the bulk of the lift. Traders will be watching for any catalysts that could extend or reverse the opening momentum.
