US Indices Close Higher, Nasdaq Gains 314 Points
Major US equity benchmarks finished higher in unofficial trading, led by a 1.17% gain for the Nasdaq.

US stock indexes advanced in the latest unofficial close. The Nasdaq Composite led the move, rising 314.26 points, or 1.17%, to 27,185.85.
The S&P 500 added 57.53 points, or 0.75%, closing at 7,723.98, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 270.94 points, or 0.53%, to finish at 51,197.50.
All three major averages posted gains, with technology shares showing the strongest momentum.
