Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan warned that the Gaza ceasefire and hostage agreement could be at risk if Israel does not take further steps toward the second phase.
According to Fidan, the Palestinian side has fulfilled its commitments regarding the transition, but Israel has not moved forward. He said this impasse could lead Türkiye and other mediators to jointly take what he called a "radical step."
The remarks add to regional diplomatic pressure around the next stage of the Gaza agreement and may keep geopolitical risk in focus for markets.
