The New Audacity: Consistency Rule Removed, Weekend and Algo Trading Allowed

Prop trading firm Audacity Capital removes consistency rule, adds same-day payouts, and allows copy trading, news trading, EA trading, weekend holding, and crypto weekend trading.

Audacity Capital, a proprietary trading firm that has been funding traders since 2012, has announced a comprehensive update to its trading conditions under the banner of "The New Audacity." The changes aim to align the firm's rules with current market dynamics and trader practices.

Key Changes to Trading Conditions

The most notable update is the removal of the consistency rule. Previously, traders had to spread profits evenly across trading days; now performance is assessed purely on overall results. This gives traders the freedom to capitalise on strong days and avoid forced trades during quiet periods.

Same-day payouts are now standard. Once a payout request is submitted and approved, funds are credited to the trader's wallet on the same day as approval. The firm says this provides clear expectations around when profits become available.

Other updates include:

  • Copy trading allowed across multiple funded accounts for scaling strategies
  • News trading and EA (Expert Advisor) trading permitted, as long as risk parameters are followed
  • Weekend holding allowed, so positions can remain open past Friday close
  • Crypto trading over weekends, reflecting the 24/7 nature of digital asset markets

For traders in the two-step Ability Challenge, drawdown limits are set at 7.5% daily and 15% overall. The maximum profit share has been raised to 90%.

The firm stated that the changes are intended to reduce friction and let traders focus on execution and consistency, while maintaining professional standards. Audacity Capital describes the initiative as an evolution rather than a rebranding, responding to how markets and traders operate today.
