Tether Has No Plans to Build Its Own Blockchain, CEO Says
Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino said the stablecoin issuer is not developing a blockchain and has no plans to do so, preferring to support multiple transport layers.

Tether is not developing a blockchain and has no plans to do so in the future, according to CEO Paolo Ardoino.
“We remain agnostic and support many transport layers for our stablecoins,” Ardoino said.
The remarks suggest the company prefers to operate across existing networks rather than build and maintain its own dedicated chain. No new blockchain project or technical roadmap was announced.
