Global Tech Funds Hit Record $131B Inflows YTD, Surpassing 2025 Full-Year High
Global technology funds have drawn a record $131 billion in inflows so far in 2025, already eclipsing the previous annual all-time high by roughly $50 billion, while US equity funds also track toward a historic annual total.
Global technology funds have attracted an unprecedented $131 billion in inflows year-to-date, setting a new record that already exceeds the full-year all-time high from 2025 by approximately $50 billion. The streak marks the fourth consecutive annual increase for tech fund flows.
If the current pace holds, full-year tech fund inflows could reach a record $216 billion. Meanwhile, US equity funds pulled in $9.6 billion last week and are on track for $652 billion in total inflows in 2026—the largest annual sum ever recorded.
The surge underscores intense investor appetite for technology exposure, with both sector-specific and broader equity funds seeing historic demand.
