Tapbit Strengthens Security Framework Through Collaboration with CertiK

Tapbit has partnered with blockchain security firm CertiK to integrate continuous auditing and real-time on-chain risk detection into its platform, moving beyond static verification.

Digital asset exchange Tapbit has announced a strategic collaboration with CertiK, a leading blockchain security firm. The partnership integrates third-party auditing and continuous monitoring into Tapbit's infrastructure, aiming to elevate risk management through independent verification.

CertiK will provide real-time on-chain risk detection that complements Tapbit's existing internal safeguards, which include wallet segregation, structured risk controls, and a $50 million insurance fund. The company also cites historical Proof of Reserves audits showing reserve ratios of 2,341% for BTC and 2,431% for ETH.

Tapbit CEO Milton Cogo said the move reflects a shift from static security verification to continuous, dynamic oversight. "Security in today's digital asset landscape must be grounded in verifiability rather than assumption," he stated, noting that users increasingly expect independently audited data and real-time monitoring.

The collaboration moves beyond one-time certification to establish a continuous security validation layer, supporting ongoing system evaluation and proactive threat response. Tapbit also highlighted its UEX (Unified Exchange Ecosystem) framework as part of its broader strategy to align with evolving regulatory expectations.

Founded in 2021, Tapbit offers crypto derivatives, spot, and copy trading services across more than 190 regions. The platform says this dual-layered security approach—combining internal infrastructure with external validation—positions it within a growing industry trend toward transparency and operational resilience.
