Taiwan Q2 GDP Growth Slows to 12.9% YoY, Still Solid
Taiwan's second-quarter GDP growth eased to 12.9% year-on-year from 14.5% in the first quarter, but the pace remains robust as normalization begins, according to DBS Group Research.
Taiwan's economy expanded 12.9% year-on-year in the second quarter, down from 14.5% in the first quarter, DBS Group Research economist Ma Tieying reported.
Despite the deceleration, growth on a quarterly basis remained solid, signaling that the economy is gradually normalizing after a period of rapid expansion.
