Stablecoin card spending hits record $1.03B in July
Monthly stablecoin card volumes surged 16% to $1.03 billion in July, up 200% year-over-year, with over 10 million purchases. Onchain platform Jupiter has fueled adoption through localized integrations across 60+ countries.
Stablecoin card spending reached an all-time high of $1.03 billion in July, a 16% jump from the previous month and a 200% increase compared to a year earlier. The month saw more than 10 million purchases, underscoring surging demand for instant settlement and global payments.
Jupiter, the world’s largest onchain platform, has been a key driver. Its localized features—including QR-based payments and accessibility in over 60 countries—have boosted adoption, with 68% of volume originating outside the U.S. Just three years ago, total monthly crypto payment card volume was a mere $1 million.
The growth momentum is expected to continue, with projections of $1.5 billion or more in monthly volume by the end of the year.
