Slovak PM Fico Says He Will Not Let NATO Article 5 Drag Country Into War
Prime Minister Robert Fico said Slovakia respects its NATO commitments but will do everything to avoid being drawn into a military conflict through Article 5.
Slovakia does not want to become part of a military conflict because of NATO’s Article 5, Prime Minister Robert Fico said.
Fico stressed that the country remains in NATO and respects its obligations. At the same time, he said that as prime minister he will do everything to ensure Slovakia is never dragged into a military conflict.
