Singapore’s economic momentum remains robust, according to UOB economist Jester Koh. The city-state’s second-quarter GDP growth for 2026 was revised upward to 5.9% year-on-year, while quarter-on-quarter expansion reached 1.4%.
The revision was fueled by robust AI-related activity in manufacturing and modern industries. Koh expects growth to run above potential, reflecting strong external demand and domestic resilience.
