Saudi Aramco Optimizes East-West Pipeline for Flexible Crude Exports
Aramco CEO Amin Nasser says the company continues to enhance the East-West pipeline, providing the kingdom with an alternative export route that bypasses the Strait of Hormuz.
Saudi Aramco is increasing the operational flexibility of its East-West pipeline, CEO Amin Nasser said. The pipeline provides the kingdom with a strategic alternative for shipping crude, moving oil from the main producing areas in the Eastern Province directly to the Red Sea.
This route allows Saudi Arabia to bypass the Strait of Hormuz, a critical chokepoint that has been a source of geopolitical tension. The optimization work underscores Aramco's efforts to secure reliable export pathways for its oil.
