RBNZ Proposes New Prudential Levy for Full Cost Recovery

The Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ) has released a consultation document proposing a new prudential levy aimed at achieving full cost recovery for its prudential activities.
The levy would apply to banks, non-bank deposit takers, insurers, and financial market infrastructures.
The consultation seeks industry feedback on the proposal.
