Rasmus Järborg Assumes the Role as CEO of Nordnet

Nordnet, the pan-Nordic digital savings and investments platform, has named Rasmus Järborg as its new chief executive officer. Järborg had served as the company’s Chief Product Officer since joining in 2018 and was appointed Deputy CEO in 2021.

Prior to Nordnet, Järborg spent more than a decade at SEB, where he was Chief Strategy Officer, and nine years at UBS in London. In his new role, he will oversee Nordnet’s continued growth, including the upcoming launch in Germany, the development of a next-generation trading offering, and the integration of artificial intelligence into both internal processes and customer-facing services.

In connection with the CEO transition, Nordnet has formed a new Wealth Management business area that encompasses the fund operations, the fund company Nordnet Fonder, and the further expansion of the Private Banking concept. Alexander Frick, previously Head of Business Management in Nordnet’s Swedish organization, has been appointed Chief Wealth Management Officer to lead this division.

Nordnet has also expanded its Executive Management team by four members: Quincy Curry as Chief Brokerage Officer, Jakob Bergfeldt as Chief Credit Officer, Mattias Schyberg as Chief Product Officer, and Alexander Frick in his new role. The existing management team, including CFO Lennart Krän, Chief HR Officer Carina Tovi, Chief Communications Officer Johan Tidestad, CTO Elias Lindholm, and the country managers for Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and Germany, remains unchanged.
