Qantas to Book A$115 Million Pretax Gain from ¥8.2B Transaction
Qantas expects a pretax gain of about A$115 million from a transaction valued at ¥8.2 billion (US$52.2 million) once equity reserve gains and transition costs are included.

Qantas Airways has disclosed a transaction with a total value of 8.2 billion yen (approximately US$52.2 million).
The airline anticipates recording an overall pretax gain of around A$115 million. That figure includes the release of equity reserve gains and accounts for transition-related costs.
The transition is scheduled to wrap up by the end of Qantas' fiscal year in June 2027.
