Pepperstone expands Perpetual CFDs with commodities and indices

Leading CFD broker Pepperstone is rolling out perpetual CFDs on gold, silver, Nasdaq, S&P 500, WTI and Brent crude, extending 24/7 trading access beyond crypto.

Pepperstone, a global fintech and CFD broker, has announced the expansion of its Perpetual CFD offering to include commodities and indices. The move extends perpetual market mechanics beyond digital assets into traditional asset classes, reflecting a broader shift toward continuous trading in global financial markets.

The broker plans to launch Perpetual CFDs on gold, silver, Nasdaq, S&P 500, WTI crude and Brent crude, among other instruments. These products will be available within Pepperstone’s regulated CFD framework, allowing traders to access 24/7 market exposure through existing accounts and platforms without needing crypto wallets or separate venue onboarding.

Perpetual futures have become one of the fastest-growing product categories worldwide, with annual trading volumes estimated to have exceeded US$90 trillion in 2025, according to Pepperstone. The company noted that tokenised assets are projected to grow from approximately US$2 trillion today to as much as US$16 trillion by 2030, pointing to a future of increasingly digital ownership and continuous liquidity.

Tamas Szabo, Group CEO of Pepperstone, said: “The concept of markets opening and closing at fixed hours is becoming increasingly outdated. Capital, information and risk now move continuously, and we believe perpetual markets will become a standard feature of modern finance.” Chris Weston, Head of Research at Pepperstone, added that major market-moving developments no longer wait for opening bells, driving trader demand for continuous access.

Pepperstone’s Perpetual CFDs operate entirely within its existing CFD infrastructure. The broker first introduced synthetic perpetual CFDs with a product referencing SpaceX (SPCX.US-PERP) and is now accelerating the rollout into metals, indices and energy markets. The expansion is part of Pepperstone’s broader strategy to build products that align with evolving market dynamics and client expectations for around-the-clock trading.
