Musk: SpaceX to Launch V3 Starlink Satellites on Next Starship, Build Exclusively on Nvidia

Elon Musk announced that SpaceX will deploy its first V3 Starlink satellites on the upcoming Starship flight and will exclusively use Nvidia hardware, projecting 2GW capacity by year-end and AI satellite launches next year.

SpaceX CEO Elon Musk disclosed plans to launch the first V3 Starlink satellites aboard the next Starship mission. The upgraded satellites are expected to significantly boost the constellation's throughput.

Musk also stated that SpaceX will build exclusively on Nvidia hardware going forward. The company is targeting 2 gigawatts of computing capacity by the end of the year, underscoring an aggressive expansion of its ground infrastructure.

Additionally, the first 'Starmind' AI-enabled satellites are scheduled to begin launching next year, marking a move toward on-orbit artificial intelligence capabilities for the Starlink network.
