MultiBank Rehires ATFX MENA CMO Johny Giacaman for Operations Role
Dubai-based retail FX and CFDs broker MultiBank has hired Johny Giacaman as Chief Business Operations Officer, marking his return after serving as Group CMO from 2020 to 2022.
MultiBank, the Dubai-based retail FX and CFDs broker, has appointed Johny Giacaman to the newly created role of Chief Business Operations Officer. The hire marks Giacaman's return to the firm after a two-year stint as Chief Marketing Officer for rival broker ATFX in the MENA region.
Giacaman previously served as MultiBank's Group Chief Marketing Officer from 2020 to 2022, a period when the company moved its headquarters and business focus from Hong Kong to Dubai. Earlier in his career, he held positions at trading platform company naqdi, radio network Shock Middle East, and other online and offline businesses.
In a LinkedIn post, Giacaman said his new role involves strategically integrating global business processes to support scalability and operational excellence. He will focus on financial technology and organizational performance, leading teams responsible for optimizing trading infrastructure, maintaining regulatory compliance, and driving market expansion.
MultiBank is controlled by its founder and chairman, Naser Taher. The appointment adds a senior operations executive as the broker continues to build out its global footprint from its Dubai base.
