MultiBank Group wins two awards at Forex Expo Dubai; Naser Taher named Financial Leader of the Year

MultiBank Group took two honours at Forex Expo Dubai and founder Naser Taher was named Financial Leader of the Year at the Gulf Business Awards, the group said.

MultiBank Group picked up two awards at Forex Expo Dubai and saw its founder and chairman, Naser Taher, recognised separately as Financial Leader of the Year at the Gulf Business Awards, the company said.

At Forex Expo Dubai, held on 22 and 23 September at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the group was named "Best Global Institutional Financial Ecosystem of the Year" and also received an award for "Excellence in Global Financial Markets Innovation and Community Impact." According to MultiBank, the first accolade recognised its institutional offering, which combines trading, liquidity, technology, infrastructure, execution, market access and tailored client solutions. The second cited its investment in financial-market innovation as well as its work in financial education, accessibility and broader industry development.

Taher's Financial Leader of the Year award was presented on 23 September at The Ritz-Carlton JBR in Dubai, within the Gulf Business Awards' Editor's Choice category.

Commenting on the Forex Expo honours, Taher said they "reflect our commitment to building a comprehensive financial ecosystem supported by advanced technology, strong infrastructure and regulatory oversight." Speaking about his own award, he added: "This award is a recognition of what our teams have built together over the past two decades."

MultiBank Group was established in California in 2005. The company says it serves more than four million clients across 100 countries and is regulated by more than 18 financial authorities spanning five continents. It also reports daily trading volume in excess of $35 billion.

The awards add to a run of industry recognition for the Dubai-headquartered brokerage, which has expanded its institutional business alongside its retail trading operations in recent years.
