Mudrex Partners with KoinX for Crypto Tax Reporting

Mudrex users can now connect their accounts with KoinX to automate crypto tax reporting, using direct sync or manual statement upload.
Crypto trading platform Mudrex has announced an integration with tax software provider KoinX, allowing users to connect their accounts and automate the retrieval of transaction history for tax reporting and assisted filing.
The integration offers two connection methods: directly through the Mudrex app or website, or from the KoinX platform. The recommended approach is to initiate the connection via Mudrex, where users can go to Profile > Get Tax Reports, select KoinX, review and consent, and then be redirected to KoinX to sign in. Once signed in, transaction data syncs automatically.
Alternatively, users can connect from KoinX by navigating to Integrations, searching for Mudrex, and choosing either a direct connect option (which redirects to Mudrex for login and consent) or a manual upload of a transaction statement. The manual upload requires downloading a transaction statement from the Mudrex app and uploading it to KoinX.
After the connection is established, KoinX provides several tax-related services. Users can generate detailed crypto tax reports using accounting methods such as FIFO, LIFO, HIFO, and Average Cost. Available reports include a Complete Tax Report, Schedule VDA Report, Transaction History Report, Buy/Sell Report, and TDS Summary. KoinX also offers assisted tax filing services, where tax professionals help prepare and file the Income Tax Return.
Mudrex stated that linking the two platforms reduces the need for manual transaction organization and provides a centralized view of crypto activity for tax purposes. The integration is now live and accessible through the latest version of the Mudrex app.
