Monad Foundation Early Investor Buyback Offer Mostly Rejected

Monad Foundation presented early investors with an opportunity to sell their MON tokens back at a discount that factored in the original four-year lock-up period. The program was backed by an allocation of $60 million.

According to the organization, nearly all eligible participants declined the offer. Foundation leadership said the initiative was intended to provide an orderly exit for early backers whose plans had changed, while preserving a core group of long-term token holders.
