Kursziel rauf, UBS verkauft leicht: Doppelschlag bei flatexDEGIRO

Deutsche Bank Research reaffirmed its Buy rating on flatexDEGIRO and raised the price target, while UBS reduced its voting stake to 3.01%.
Two separate developments have emerged concerning German online broker flatexDEGIRO SE, offering contrasting signals from the capital markets. Deutsche Bank Research upped its price target on the stock and maintained a Buy recommendation, while UBS Group AG slightly reduced its disclosed voting stake.
According to a voting rights notification filed under Germany’s Securities Trading Act on July 14, 2026, UBS lowered its consolidated voting interest in flatexDEGIRO to 3.01% of total voting rights (based on 110,134,548 total votes). The previous filing had shown a 3.35% stake. The reduction crossed the reporting threshold on July 9, 2026. Of the current holding, 2.99% are attributed voting rights under §34 WpHG and 0.02% are held through instruments, mainly recall claims for lent shares. UBS stated that it does not control or is controlled by other voting-right holders of the issuer, and while a detailed chain of subsidiaries was provided, no percentage breakdown was given for each entity.
Separately, Deutsche Bank Research raised its price target for flatexDEGIRO and reiterated its “Buy” rating, signaling continued confidence in the online broker’s prospects. The analyst action followed no public strategic update from flatexDEGIRO itself, suggesting the revision was based on broader sector or valuation considerations.
The two pieces of news—a minor sell-off by one major bank and a positive rating adjustment by another—illustrate differing near-term views on flatexDEGIRO, though neither indicates a fundamental shift in the company’s operations or strategy.
