Korbit Launches Digital Asset Donation Campaign with Good Neighbors

South Korean exchange Korbit launched a digital asset donation campaign with charity Good Neighbors on May 28, accepting BTC, ETH, XRP, USDT and USDC through August 31.
South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Korbit has launched a digital asset donation campaign in partnership with international aid organization Good Neighbors, aiming to support children from families in crisis. The campaign began on May 28 and will run through August 31.
During the campaign period, donors can contribute Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Ripple (XRP), Tether (USDT) and USD Coin (USDC). Korbit said the donations will first be allocated to cover living expenses and childcare improvements for the target families, with any remaining funds going toward Good Neighbors' crisis family support programs and domestic child welfare initiatives.
The initiative marks a continued effort by the exchange to integrate digital assets into social-impact projects. By accepting multiple cryptocurrencies, Korbit is allowing users to donate directly from their crypto holdings rather than converting to fiat first.
Korbit, one of South Korea's established virtual asset exchanges, has not disclosed a target fundraising amount. The company framed the campaign as a way to channel crypto philanthropy toward vulnerable households, particularly children in need.
The partnership highlights how cryptocurrency platforms are increasingly using their infrastructure for charitable giving, while also offering users a practical way to deploy digital assets beyond trading.
