The New Zealand dollar extended its losing streak to three days against the greenback, slipping to around 0.5870 during Asian hours. The decline reflects broad US dollar strength as investors sought safety amid growing doubts over Middle East peace prospects.
Safe-haven flows dominated early Wednesday, pushing the dollar higher and weighing on risk-sensitive currencies like the kiwi. NZD/USD showed no sign of reversing its downtrend, with immediate support levels in focus.
