Ironbeam Welcomes New CME Single Stock Futures

Ironbeam will provide clients access to CME Group's new Single Stock Futures contracts upon launch this summer, covering more than 50 U.S. equities.

Ironbeam has announced that it will offer CME Group's upcoming suite of Single Stock Futures to its clients once the contracts go live this summer. The futures broker positions the move as a way to give traders capital-efficient exposure to individual U.S. equities through the futures market.

CME Group's new Single Stock Futures are financially settled futures contracts tied to the price movements of well-known U.S. companies. The initial lineup will include more than 50 leading stocks drawn from major indexes such as the S&P 500, Nasdaq-100, and Russell 1000. Among the names listed are Alphabet, Meta, NVIDIA, and Tesla, according to CME's announcement.

In its announcement, Ironbeam highlighted several advantages of the new contracts. Traders can control equity exposure using margin rather than purchasing full stock positions, which improves capital efficiency. Single Stock Futures also allow both long and short exposure without requiring stock borrowing. Additionally, the contracts trade on nearly 24-hour electronic markets, giving traders more opportunities to respond to events. The products also enable more sophisticated strategies, such as relative value trades and hedging, which could be more costly or difficult to execute in equity markets.

The company said it is ready to integrate the new products into its platform pending regulatory approvals. Ironbeam noted that the contracts align with its commitment to delivering innovative, futures-focused trading solutions across global markets. Further details on contract symbols, trading hours, margin parameters, and platform access will be shared closer to the launch date.
