Iraq's Oil Exports Surge to 42.5 Million Barrels in July

Iraq's oil sales jumped to 42.5 million barrels in July, up from 24.5 million in June, driven by increased southern terminal exports.

Iraq exported approximately 42.5 million barrels of oil from its southern and northern terminals in July, a significant increase from the 24.5 million barrels sold in June. The data was reported by Ali Nizar, head of the State Oil Marketing Organization (SOMO), to Dijla TV.

Southern terminal exports accounted for 35.5 million barrels of the total, while the remaining volume was shipped via the Iraq-Turkey pipeline to the Turkish port of Ceyhan.

The sharp monthly rise reflects higher production and export volumes from OPEC's second-largest producer.
