Iran’s General: Attacks Continued for Two Days After U.S. Ceased, Saudi Arabia Denies Iraq Role
Iran’s General Rezaei stated that Iranian forces sustained attacks for two days after the U.S. halted its own operations, while a Saudi official reportedly contacted Tehran to deny involvement in the Iraq attack.
According to Fars News, Iranian General Mohsen Rezaei stated that after the United States stopped its own attacks, Iran continued its strikes for another two days. He explained the extended campaign was meant to ensure the U.S. “understood the situation.”
In the same report, a Saudi official reached out to Iran’s foreign ministry to clarify that Saudi Arabia was not involved in the attack on Iraq.
