Introducing Coincall Events Option
Coincall introduced Events Option, a fixed-payout prediction product for BTC, ETH and select altcoins, featuring UP/DOWN and RANGE modes with no margin or liquidation risk.
Coincall, a crypto derivatives platform, has rolled out Events Option, a prediction-style product that lets users trade short-term price forecasts on bitcoin, ether and a selection of altcoins. The feature offers fixed payouts and instant settlement, positioning itself as a simple entry point for market speculation.
Users begin by picking an asset, then choose a timeframe ranging from one minute up to one hour. They then predict whether the price will rise or fall, or opt for a custom price range. The potential return and annualized percentage rate are shown before the trade is confirmed, and the rate displayed at order placement is the final rate applied.
Events Option is designed as a low-friction alternative to traditional options or futures. It requires no margin and carries no liquidation or leverage risk. Positions cannot be closed early — all trades settle at expiry, a policy the company says ensures fair and transparent outcomes. Minimum trade sizes range from 5 to 10 USDT depending on the asset.
Daily prediction rounds settle at 08:05 UTC, with the reference price calculated as the average price over the 30 minutes before expiry. If the closing price is exactly equal to the opening price, the round is treated as a prediction failure and the invested principal is lost in full, subject to platform rules. Payouts are determined by market-maker pricing and platform settings at the time of the trade.
Alongside the launch, Coincall refreshed its referral program. Users who invite friends earn a 5% commission on all prediction trading volume generated by their referrals, credited in real time and independent of whether the referred trader wins or loses. The company also removed the leaderboard from the Events Option experience to create a pressure-free environment.
