INDODAX Introduces Tokenized Stocks

INDODAX has introduced seven tokenized stock assets representing global companies like Tesla, Alphabet, NVIDIA, and Apple, running on the Solana blockchain, enabling fractional ownership and 24/7 trading for Indonesian investors.
Jakarta, 15 April 2026 – Indonesian crypto exchange INDODAX has listed seven tokenized stock assets, giving local investors a blockchain-based pathway to gain exposure to major global equities. The move adds a new instrument category to the platform, blending traditional finance with the digital asset ecosystem.
The tokenized stocks — representing Tesla (TSLAX), Alphabet (GOOGLX), NVIDIA (NVDAX), Circle (CRCLX), Apple (AAPLX), Amazon (AMZNX), and Coinbase (COINX) — are issued on the Solana blockchain. Each token is pegged 1:1 to the corresponding company’s share price on conventional stock exchanges.
Key Features and Trading Details
Unlike traditional stock trading, tokenized stocks allow fractional ownership, enabling investors to buy smaller units of high-priced equities. Trading runs 24/7, without the restrictions of standard market hours. Transactions settle in real time on the blockchain, and investors do not need to open a separate international brokerage account.
“Tokenized stocks reflect a global trend of bridging access between traditional financial markets and blockchain technology,” said Antony Kusuma, Vice President of INDODAX. “We see a shift in how investors access global assets — more open and flexible. This isn’t just about ease of access; blockchain can simplify processes that were previously more complex. But understanding the mechanisms and risks remains crucial for informed decision-making.”
Deposits for the new assets opened on 9 April 2026 at 14:00 WIB, with live trading commencing on 16 April 2026 at 14:00 WIB.
INDODAX noted that because crypto markets operate 24/7 while conventional stock exchanges have fixed hours, temporary price discrepancies between tokenized stocks and their underlying shares may occur.
