IG emerging markets head Paul Stevens moves to NinjaTrader

Paul Stevens, a longtime IG Group executive, has joined futures-focused online brokerage and platform firm NinjaTrader as Regional Director, Rest of World (RoW). NinjaTrader is a unit of Payward, the parent company of the Kraken cryptocurrency exchange.

Stevens spent the past 17 years at IG in London before leaving earlier this year. He started at IG as a sales trader in 2009 and for the last six years served as Head of Emerging Markets, with full profit-and-loss responsibility for the company's high-growth emerging markets business. His new role at NinjaTrader continues that international remit.

Stevens is the second senior former IG executive focused on international business to join NinjaTrader in 2026. Earlier this year, Chris Tripp joined as General Manager International. Tripp had previously been Commercial Director and Head of Trading Products at IG.

NinjaTrader provides futures trading software and brokerage services, and operates as part of Payward, the same group that owns Kraken. The appointments bring experience in IG's product development and emerging-markets growth operations into NinjaTrader's leadership team. IG Group is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the ticker IGG, while NinjaTrader operates as part of the Payward group.
