HTX DAO Burns Over $32.82 Million Worth of $HTX in H1 2026

HTX DAO completed its Q2 2026 $HTX token burn on July 15, bringing first-half 2026 burns to over $32.82 million despite market headwinds.

HTX DAO announced on July 15 that it had completed its scheduled $HTX token burn for the second quarter of 2026. On-chain data shows a total of 7,474,935,439,560 $HTX tokens were removed from circulation in this round, valued at more than $13.6 million. Combined with Q1 figures, the DAO burned over $32.82 million worth of $HTX in the first half of 2026.

The latest burn brings the cumulative volume of $HTX burned and pledged to 117.79 trillion tokens, backed by verifiable on-chain burn proofs. HTX DAO said the deflationary track record stands out at a time when broader market liquidity remains under sustained pressure.

The first half of the year saw turbulent crypto market conditions, with Bitcoin briefly slipping below the $60,000 level. Diminished expectations for Federal Reserve rate cuts, consecutive net outflows from spot ETFs, sharply lower spot and derivatives trading volumes, and the first quarterly contraction in aggregate stablecoin supply since Q3 2023 all contributed to the difficult environment.

Despite these industry-wide challenges, $HTX maintained a multi-million-dollar burn scale across consecutive quarters. According to data disclosed by HTX, the platform’s cumulative registered users reached 59.49 million, total trading volume approached $90 million, and the platform now supports more than 612 trading pairs across mainstream assets, trending sectors, and new projects. HTX DAO attributed the sustained burn execution to this trading activity and steady pipeline of asset listings.

Ecosystem Expansion

Beyond the burn mechanism, HTX DAO is pushing ecosystem development through the HTX Genesis Hackathon, co-hosted with B.AI and co-organized by TinTinLand. The event, now in its final stage, features a 20,000 USDT prize pool plus over $100,000 in computing power resources and has drawn more than 200 developer teams. Focus areas include $HTX utility scenarios, AI agent finance, on-chain asset management, DAO tools, and smart financial operating systems.

HTX DAO said such developer incentive programs expand $HTX’s use in decentralized governance, payments, and ecosystem collaboration, creating sustained utility demand. Looking ahead, the organization expects $HTX to evolve from a standalone governance token into a value carrier linking trading, decentralized governance, developer networks, and AI innovation.
