Hantec Markets UK Turnover Slips to £6.19m as Operating Profit Turns into Loss

Hantec Markets Limited's UK arm posted turnover of £6.19m for 2025, down 0.3%, as higher administrative costs turned an operating profit into a £7,726 loss.

Hantec Markets Limited, the UK-regulated entity of the Hantec brokerage group, reported a marginal decline in turnover and a lower bottom line for the year ended 31 December 2025, even as profit before tax improved, according to accounts filed with Companies House.

Turnover reached £6.19 million, a drop of roughly 0.3% from £6.21 million a year earlier. Administrative expenses rose to £6.20 million from £6.13 million, a move that swung the company from an operating profit of £82,362 in 2024 to an operating loss of £7,726 in 2025.

Interest income offsets the shortfall

The operating deficit was more than absorbed by £97,267 of interest receivable and similar income. The firm also recorded no interest payable or comparable expenses during the year, compared with £2,612 in 2024. As a result, profit before taxation increased to £89,541 from £79,750.

After a tax charge of £41,342, Hantec Markets reported a profit for the financial year of £48,199, down from £72,350 in the previous year. The financial statements note that the income statement was prepared on the basis that "all operations are continuing."

Directors stayed cautious about the year ahead, stating that "market conditions will be challenging in 2026" while adding that they still expect profitability to improve. The company said its strategy remains oriented toward the long term.

Separately, Hantec has continued to expand its trading services through technology partnerships. The broker integrated Brokeree Solutions' technology to support its Hantec Social copy trading platform and its Hantec PAMM managed account service across MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5; the PAMM offering had previously been launched using Brokeree's infrastructure. Hantec also integrated Swiset's analytics and trader engagement tools, adding further services for its client base.
